What you see here is the rear of the main house. The stove (which extends out from the large kitchen fireplace) is the domed white structure under the small shingled roof.
Today I took a student to this 18th-century farmstead in Lansdale, Pennsylvania where George Washington stayed before the Battle of Germantown during the American Revolution. It was a bleak day, but an interesting visit.
